2022 Inspection Tour Planning
FHS is now planning for 2022!
We are currently accepting site hosts for the 2022 Inspection Tour. Please consider hosting an Inspection Site. No experience is necessary, FHS doesn’t charge the host anything, and will be there to support you! It is important to get Site Host Applications in ASAP so we will have enough time to announce them to the membership and get entries for your site.
We are also accepting 2022 entry applications. NO ONE will be charged ANY money until their Inspection site is confirmed. We really want to make the 2022 Inspection Tour a success!
As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or input, please feel free to contact the FHS via email at fhsactivities@friesianhorsesociety.com or phone the office Monday – Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm in the Central Time Zone.

Gastric Ulcers in Horses
Veterinary medicine has more information about gastric ulcers in horses including detection, treatment and potential causes. The following article explains how there are 2 different types of ulcers; Non-Glandular (the type most people encounter in their horse) and Glandular (the type that is in the lower stomach) which can be missed if the scope is not long enough when the horse is examined.
