The main breeding goal is to register good sport horses. But the Arabo-Friesian must also be a nice looking and a correctly built typical “Friesian” horse with good physical characteristics and gaits. Therefore yearly events take place to proof the quality of the foals and grown up three year old or adult horses. On such show the classic way of judging Friesians will apply. The best conformity with the best gaits will get the highest place in ranking. But it could be the 2nd or 4th foal that ALSO gets the preliminary Sport Certificate. That is the best Arabo-Friesian for our breeding program, although it was not the highest placed one…..
